A fast-paced multi-disciplinary interior design firm is in urgent need of an exceptional onsite CAD Draftsman/Designer to join their team!

Get the opportunity to collaborate directly with clients and vendors, as well a team of seasoned interior design professionals, and see your ideas come to life!

- Oversee and create design presentations for vendors/clients
- Collaborate in conceptualizing design ideas
- Possess VERY STRONG SKILLS CAD DRAFTING SKILLS in creating diagrams, schematics, layouts, multiview, and various drawings to scale in accordance with clients' requests.
- Create and update construction sketches in CAD
- Collaborate with project managers and design consultants.
- Management and organization of CAD drawings.
- Design spaces and create realistic item designs for visualization
- Communicate design direction concepts/ideas to other team members
- Support and ensure brand standards are met
- Ensure quality control for all designs/renders
- Attend and assist at trade show events and other displays
- Proof designs prior to distribution/presentation
- Stay attuned to all tools and best practices for CAD

Background profile:
- Robust Adobe CC skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Robust AutoCAD skills and other 3D modeling software
- Experience creating 3D renderings
- VERY STRONG CAD DRAFTING SKILLS
- Experience conducting space planning/ and conceptual designs
- Ability/ experience designing presentations
- Sound understanding of construction/interior design documents
- Strong visualization skills and ability to communicate design ideas
- Excellent communications skills, verbally and written
- Ability to work under pressure and switch priorities accordingly to meet deadlines
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Client-facing experience is a bonus, experience working with vendors as well
- BS/BA Degree and 5+ years of 3D modeling, drafting and illustrating experience
