HOSPITALITY / YACHT MANAGER

An executive private client in Malibu is seeking an experienced, hospitality-minded HOSPITALITY / YACHT MANAGER to join a small, established household team. This is an excellent opportunity for a polished private-service professional who takes genuine pride in creating a beautifully maintained home while providing gracious, intuitive service.

This is a full-time position, with the general schedule anticipated to be Tuesday–Saturday or Wednesday–Sunday.

The ideal candidate will have a true service heart, an upbeat and professional demeanor, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable private household or luxury hospitality environment. Candidates should be equally comfortable performing meticulous housekeeping duties and assisting with formal and informal household service.

Responsibilities will include detailed housekeeping and maintaining the residence to exceptional standards; expert laundry, ironing and wardrobe care; proper care of fine fabrics, furnishings and upholstery; household organization and presentation; table setting and meal service; assisting with entertaining and guest service; and working collaboratively with other members of the household team.

The successful candidate will be polished, discreet, detail-oriented, highly organized and hardworking, with excellent time-management skills and a calm, positive demeanor. Prior experience working in large, formal private residences is required, along with an understanding of the elevated standards, discretion and attention to detail expected within an executive household.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant private household, yacht or luxury hospitality experience
• Strong detailed housekeeping skills within large, high-end residences
• Excellent laundry, ironing and fine-fabric care knowledge
• Experience caring for luxury furnishings and upholstery
• Strong table-setting, serving and hospitality skills
• Professional, polished and service-oriented presentation
• Excellent organization and time-management skills
• Calm, flexible and collaborative approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small household team
• Excellent, verifiable professional references
