Position Overview

Our clients are seeking an experienced, detail-driven Laundress / Housekeeper to join a well-established household team supporting residences in West Hollywood and Malibu. This role is primarily focused on high-level garment care and laundry management, with additional light housekeeping responsibilities to assist the team as needed. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of fabric care, organization, and presentation, and takes pride in maintaining garments and household standards at an exceptional level.

Primary Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for all laundry operations, including in-house dry cleaning
• Expert care of fine garments, delicates, couture, and specialty fabrics
• Pressing and finishing men’s shirts to professional standards
• Advanced stain identification and stain management techniques
• Proper laundering, folding, steaming, and storage of clothing
• Care and organization of shoes, accessories, and specialty items
• Seasonal rotation of wardrobes and closet organization
• Packing and unpacking for travel, ensuring garments are prepared and protected
• Inventory management of garments, linens, and laundry supplies
• Maintaining laundry areas, machines, and tools in pristine condition
• Assisting with light housekeeping duties to support the household team as needed
• Upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, discretion, and presentation
• Qualifications & Skills
• Proven experience as a Laundress or Housekeeper with advanced laundry expertise in a private household or luxury environment
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and proper care methods
• Skilled in operating commercial-grade washers, dryers, steamers, and presses
• Highly organized with an exceptional eye for detail
• Proactive, efficient, and able to work independently
• Calm, professional demeanor with a service-oriented mindset
• Discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of privacy
• Able to take direction while also anticipating household needs
• Physically able to perform the duties of the position
