Location: Northeast Ohio (Primarily Remote with Local Travel)

About Us: GRS Recruiting has partnered with a well-respected Fluid Power Distributor in their search for a dedicated Sales Territory Manager in the greater Raleigh area. Our client is a growing company known for its commitment to exceptional service and employee well-being. With a new facility set to be built in the next year or so, this is an exciting time to join their team.

Role Overview: As a Sales Territory Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales within the greater Northeast Ohio region. This role is primarily remote, with the majority of your time spent traveling locally to engage with clients. Your primary focus will be on expanding our client’s market presence within related industries such as fluid power, hose, valve, and pumps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions for clients.

Requirements:

  • Experience or background in industrial sales
  • Technical aptitude is essential; an engineering background is a plus.
  • Proven track record of success in a sales “hunter” role.
  • Familiarity with related markets, including fluid power, hose, valve, and pumps.
