The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly capable UKG Pro Implementation Project Manager to lead and support HCM-related implementation projects in an interim, full-time remote capacity. In this role, you will coordinate between clients and vendor teams, manage timelines, expedite deliverables, and contribute subject matter expertise in system setup and module implementation. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and can deliver measurable results with minimal oversight.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Manage project implementation timelines, tasks, and deliverables from start to finish
  • Serve as the liaison between clients and vendor teams to prioritize and resolve issues
  • Provide expert insight and analysis of HCM system data and recommend improvements
  • Lead or support the configuration and implementation of additional vendor modules
  • Oversee inspections, logistics coordination, and expediting tasks as part of project execution
  • Maintain clear documentation of project activities, decisions, and progress
  • Ensure project milestones are met and that stakeholder expectations are aligned
  • Operate effectively in a remote work setting while coordinating with hybrid and on-site teams


What You Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in project management, particularly within HCM or payroll environments, with hands-on experience in UKG Pro implementation and configuration
  • Strong skills in expediting, inspection oversight, and logistics coordination
  • Proven ability to lead executive-level discussions, manage complex client relationships, and influence key stakeholders across organizational levels
  • Advanced relationship management and de-escalation skills, with a track record of building trust, aligning stakeholders, and driving consensus in challenging situations
  • Demonstrated ability to create structure, clarity, and alignment across multiple projects and diverse teams in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for managing expectations and resolving conflicts proactively
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision while maintaining quality and timelines
  • Private equity or M&A integration experience is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with HCM systems and related module implementation, with a focus on driving successful outcomes through UKG Pro expertise
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and make data-driven decisions
  • Proven ability to work both collaboratively and independently, maintaining ownership and accountability for results
  • Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) is a plus

Pay Range (where required by law):
For roles posted in states that require it, we provide a pay range to help you decide if this opportunity is a fit. For this position, the hourly range is $70$90 per hour (actual pay will be based on experience, skills, and specific state/local requirements).
