Senior Accountant, SEC Reporting

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant, SEC Reporting, to join their growing SAAS organization.  This role is responsible for corporate accounting, financial consolidations, and SEC reporting for a publicly traded company. This is an excellent opportunity for a Big 4 Senior ready to transition into industry and gain hands-on exposure to 10-K/10-Q filings and complex technical accounting.

What You’ll Do

• Support key corporate accounting areas including leases, debt, investments, goodwill, and pension
• Assist with the monthly close and consolidation of financial results in accordance with US GAAP
• Support preparation of Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, and other SEC filings, including disclosures
• Perform financial analysis to understand period-over-period performance
• Conduct accounting research and assist with technical accounting memos and policy updates
• Partner cross-functionally with Investor Relations, Tax, and external auditors

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 3–4+ years at a Big 4 public accounting firm
• Strong US GAAP knowledge: CPA preferred
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency
• SEC reporting exposure a plus
