Position Overview

Our civil litigation law firm is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing and overseeing all aspects of civil litigation matters, from case evaluation through trial. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling complex and highly contested issues, providing exceptional legal representation, and ensuring our clients receive the highest level of service and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motions, and trial preparation.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Evaluate and manage complex litigation issues involving contested matters.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, providing regular updates and ensuring their legal needs are met.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
• Utilize case management software (Clio preferred) to maintain organized case files and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; law review participation strongly preferred.
• Active license to practice law in the State of Florida (in good standing).
• Demonstrated expertise in civil litigation, with experience managing cases through trial.
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proven ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Clio Case Management Software (preferred).
• Experience serving high-profile clientele is a plus.
