  • Practical experience with core cloud services (compute, storage, networking, identity)
  • Strong troubleshooting and remediation experience within complex enterprise environments
  • Experience working in a large organization with formal security, risk, compliance, change-management, and operational processes
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, firewalls, load balancing, VPNs, routing, and network security controls
  • Familiarity with identity and access management concepts, preferably including Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID
  • Experience supporting secure cloud configurations, system hardening, access controls, and cloud risk reduction
  • Ability to investigate issues, test solutions, validate fixes, and drive technical resolution
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across infrastructure, security, application, and leadership teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in infrastructure, systems engineering, cloud engineering, or related enterprise technology roles
  • Experience working in financial services, banking, insurance, healthcare, or another highly regulated enterprise environment
  • Prior experience serving as a senior escalation point, SME, Subject Matter Expert, or Tier 3 cloud/infrastructure engineer
  • Experience leading troubleshooting efforts, driving resolution, and working independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers or supporting knowledge transfer across technical teams
  • Familiarity with vulnerability remediation, cloud security findings, risk reduction, compliance-driven remediation, or secure configuration reviews
  • Industry certifications related to Azure cloud platforms, such as AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-500, or similar
