Job Description

A leading law firm is seeking a Manager, IP Litigation Paralegal Team for its D.C.-area office (hybrid, three days in office preferred). This role oversees the strategic and operational management of the firm's Trial & Appellate Group (TAG) paralegal team, serving as a key liaison between attorneys, paralegals, and administrative leadership. The manager will drive quality, consistency, and efficiency across all phases of litigation support — including discovery, trial preparation, court filings, and case management — while overseeing TAG staffing, workflow, and case deadlines across U.S. and foreign matters.

Beyond day-to-day litigation support, this role manages the paralegal team directly: recruiting, onboarding, performance management, coaching, and career development, alongside budget oversight, vendor relationships, and evaluation of litigation support technology. The role also carries a 600-hour annual billable goal as a working supervisor.

Candidates should bring a bachelor's degree, 10+ years of IP litigation paralegal experience, and strong knowledge of litigation software (Relativity, PACER, TrialDirector, and similar tools). Leadership experience, advanced Microsoft Office skills, and familiarity with legal tech and AI tools are also required. Some travel to trial locations is expected.

The salary range for this role is $160,000 to $180,000 per year.
