As a Systems Engineer on our client's team, you have the chance to lead the technical development and integration of Department of Defense systems. You’ll create, integrate, and apply interdisciplinary digital models of systems from concept throughout the product lifecycle. You’ll apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge and develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity in support of hypersonic testing. You will work independently with some guidance and review or guide the activities of junior employees. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with systems design, integration, and testing activities
• Experience conducting system-level trade studies to identify and balance conflicting requirements
• Experience delivering complex aerospace hardware from concept to test
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with requirements derivation and definition
• Experience with requirements validation and verification
• Experience with a gated design review process
• Knowledge of Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or Unified Modeling Language (UML)
• Knowledge of requirement management tools, including DOORS or JAMA
• Secret clearance
• Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
