  • Strong familiarity with building and integrating REST APIs and backend systems

Strong proficiency with modern front-end development:

  • JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
  • HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI/UX design
  • Expertise in at least one leading framework: React, Angular, or Vue

  • Building and consuming RESTful APIs, including API security (OAuth2, JWT, RBAC)
  • experience with microservices architecture and integration patterns

Database skills:

  • Practical experience with both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases for modeling, querying, and access control CI/CD and DevOps awareness:
  • Comfort leveraging git-based workflows, modern CI/CD tooling, and containerization (Docker)
  • Familiar with cloud deployment practices in AWS, or GCP

Experience integrating web UIs and APIs with analytics platforms: (e.g., exposing Databricks insights via APIs, displaying analytics outputs in web apps)

Preferred Skills

  • Active FDA laptop access (strongly preferred), or recent FDA project offboarding
  • Experience with Drools business rules engines for integrating dynamic business logic
  • Direct integration with Databricks or other analytic/data platforms at the API or UI layer

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

  • Ensure seamless, secure, and performant integration between frontend, backend, and analytic services (via REST APIs and platform SDKs)
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and data protections throughout the stack
  • Build and document reusable code, UI components, and API endpoints for scalable, long-term delivery
  • Work closely with other developers, data engineers, DevOps, and product owners to deliver robust and maintainable solutions
  • Support deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and improvement of production systems

Expected Deliverables:
Drive development of web applications and APIs for the NextGen TSS platform, delivering both intuitive user experiences and robust server-side processing.
You will work across the stack—building responsive, high-performance interfaces; architecting scalable backend services; and integrating advanced analytics platforms (such as Databricks). Close collaboration with backend, data, and DevOps teams ensures that solutions are secure, maintainable, and impactful for FDA stakeholders.
