- Building and consuming RESTful APIs, including API security (OAuth2, JWT, RBAC)
- experience with microservices architecture and integration patterns
Database skills:
- Practical experience with both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases for modeling, querying, and access control CI/CD and DevOps awareness:
- Comfort leveraging git-based workflows, modern CI/CD tooling, and containerization (Docker)
- Familiar with cloud deployment practices in AWS, or GCP
Experience integrating web UIs and APIs with analytics platforms: (e.g., exposing Databricks insights via APIs, displaying analytics outputs in web apps)
Preferred Skills

Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and optimize user-facing web interfaces and backend API/services for core TSS workflows
- Ensure seamless, secure, and performant integration between frontend, backend, and analytic services (via REST APIs and platform SDKs)
- Implement authentication, authorization, and data protections throughout the stack
- Build and document reusable code, UI components, and API endpoints for scalable, long-term delivery
- Work closely with other developers, data engineers, DevOps, and product owners to deliver robust and maintainable solutions
- Support deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and improvement of production systems
Expected Deliverables:
Drive development of web applications and APIs for the NextGen TSS platform, delivering both intuitive user experiences and robust server-side processing.
You will work across the stack—building responsive, high-performance interfaces; architecting scalable backend services; and integrating advanced analytics platforms (such as Databricks). Close collaboration with backend, data, and DevOps teams ensures that solutions are secure, maintainable, and impactful for FDA stakeholders.
