Required Skills: Appian development - Senior/Lead Certification preferred Preferred Skills: Appian Platform Mastery: Demonstrated expertise designing, building, and optimizing robust Appian applications for large-scale use. Appian Best Practices: Strong knowledge of Appian coding standards, reusable component development, performance optimization, and solution maintainability. Requirements Translation: Ability to interpret complex stakeholder and mission requirements and implement them within the Appian platform. Secure Integration: Experience integrating Appian applications with enterprise data sources, APIs, and third-party services in secure environments. Agile Delivery: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including participating in sprints, daily stand-ups, and iterative development. Technical Documentation: Proficiency in documenting technical solutions, processes, and configurations for ongoing sustainment and audit readiness. Mentorship: Experience guiding and mentoring junior developers in Appian best practices and project delivery. Credential: Senior/Lead Appian Developer Certification preferred. Day-to-day Responsibilities: As an Appian Engineer supporting clients, you will deliver innovative business process solutions using the Appian low-code platform. You will play a key role in the end-to-end lifecycle of Appian applications—translating complex operational requirements into reliable, scalable solutions that support DoW Client mission objectives. The role involves hands-on development, technical quality oversight, integration with enterprise and federal systems, and active participation in Agile teams. You will champion Appian best practices throughout project delivery to ensure efficient, maintainable, and high-quality solutions
