A growing manufacturing company in Southeast Houston is currently hiring an experienced Accounting Assistant to join their team! In this role, the Accounting Assistant will support daily accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring invoices, payments, and financial records are processed accurately and on schedule. This position plays a key role in maintaining organized documentation, managing ERP transactions, and supporting month-end accounting activities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000/year

The perfect Accounting Assistant for our client will have:

• 2+ years of accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment
• Hands-on experience performing three-way matching and processing high volumes of invoices and vendor payments
• Proficiency with ERP systems; experience with Macola is highly preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and Outlook
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies quickly
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines, maintain organized digital records, and communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams
