Practice Type: Multiple private practice options with a balanced mix of OB and GYN
Service Area: 5-county area with a population of 250,000+
Schedule: Full-time
Call Schedule: 1:9 rotation
Physicians typically deliver their own patients, but not required when off call
APP Supervision: Some practices include Advanced Practice Providers (APPs); no supervision required in Year 1
No Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs)
EMR: Varies by practice
Patient Volume: RMC handles 2,100+ annual deliveries
Robotics: DaVinci 5 and Xi available (not required, but a perk)
Facilities: Beautiful Women & Children's Pavilion with:
10 Labor & Delivery rooms
20 postpartum rooms
5-bed mini clinic for urgent care (e.g., high blood pressure in pregnant patients)
3 OB operating rooms adjacent to L&D
No NICU, no high-risk deliveries (RMC delivers 34+ weeks)
Additional Features: Nitronox (nitrous oxide system for L&D) and water birthing tubs
Compensation Model:
Year 1: Income guarantee of $375k-400k (BOE-negotiable) provided by Hospital
Post-Year 1: Transition to private practice compensation model
Signing Bonus: $35,000+ neg.
Call Pay:
OB & GYN: $5,000/weekend
OB only: $3,500/weekend
GYN only: $1,500/weekend
