Amazon Connect Solution Lead

Capstone IT is helping our client to find an Amazon Connect Solution Lead who will design and develop contact center call routing solutions, build AWS serverless applications, integrate secure APIs, and lead technical delivery. This person will work hands-on with Amazon Connect, Node.js, TypeScript, AWS Lambda, CDK, DynamoDB, and other AWS services while also developing modern interfaces using Vue.js and Nuxt.js.

The role combines Amazon Connect engineering, AWS serverless development, and technical leadership. The successful candidate must be comfortable owning technical decisions, mentoring engineers, and delivering reliable solutions even when requirements are not fully defined.

1. Amazon Connect & Contact Center Engineering: Designing and enhancing contact flows, routing logic, and omnichannel experiences.

2. AWS Serverless Development: Hands-on Node.js/TypeScript, AWS Lambda, CDK, DynamoDB, S3, and REST API development.

3. Vue.js / Nuxt.js Front-End Development: Building user interfaces that integrate with serverless APIs.

4. Technical Leadership & Delivery: Leading design decisions, mentoring engineers, enforcing testing and CI/CD standards, and owning successful delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Amazon Connect call flows and routing capabilities.

• Develop secure REST APIs and integrate contact center applications.

• Build scalable AWS serverless services using Node.js and TypeScript.

• Develop Vue.js/Nuxt.js front-end components.

• Implement automated unit and integration testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and security controls.

• Lead technical delivery, code reviews, architecture discussions, and engineering collaboration.

• Document solutions and work independently through ambiguous requirements.

Qualifications

Core requirements: Amazon Connect call routing experience; AWS serverless development with Node.js/TypeScript; Lambda, CDK, S3, and DynamoDB; API integration; automated testing; and technical leadership.

Additional relevant experience: Vue.js/Nuxt.js, CloudWatch, X-Ray, Step Functions, EventBridge, KMS, least-privilege IAM, infrastructure as code, Agile/Jira/Confluence, and contact center analytics or workforce management.
