Senior Project Manager – Microsoft 365 Implementation
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale Microsoft 365 implementation for a complex enterprise environment. This role will oversee multiple workstreams, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure successful delivery of identity, access, and collaboration solutions for an organization with 2,500+ employees.
The ideal candidate has deep experience managing enterprise Microsoft 365 deployments, with a strong focus on identity and access management (IAM), governance, and change management.
Position Type: Contract (1+ years)
Location: On-site first month in Springfield, MO, then remote with on-site as needed (reimbursement for travel offered)

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Microsoft 365 implementation projects in large enterprise environments (2,500+ users).
- Manage multiple concurrent workstreams, including identity and access management, security, collaboration tools, migration, and user adoption.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and reporting.
- Coordinate closely with IT, security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
- Drive implementation of identity and access management solutions within Microsoft 365, including Azure AD / Entra ID, authentication, authorization, and access governance.
- Ensure alignment with organizational security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Manage vendors, partners, and third-party integrators as needed.
- Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to executive leadership.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager leading large Microsoft 365 implementations.
- Hands-on experience with identity and access management (IAM) in Microsoft 365 environments.
- Demonstrated success managing implementations for organizations with 2,500+ employees.
- Strong experience managing multi-workstream enterprise projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, deployment strategies, and enterprise governance considerations.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex, fast-paced environments.
