C2's client, a global leader in workforce innovation and one of the world's most ethical and inclusive employers, seeks a contract Junior Designer/Digital Designer to support the Global Creative team across a growing portfolio of branded marketing and communications work. Reporting to the Global Creative Lead, this role will contribute to the execution of digital and traditional assets across the client's family of brands.

The Global Creative team operates as an internal agency, supporting a shift from country-led to globally driven creative. As a result, the volume and visibility of work has increased significantly. This role adds a reliable, hands-on designer who can be trained on brand standards and support the team across a wide range of projects.

This is a strong fit for a junior designer/digital designer with a solid foundation in design and a genuine curiosity for how AI is shaping creative workflows. The team is actively exploring tools like Adobe Firefly, Microsoft Copilot, and other emerging platforms to improve speed, consistency, and output. This role contributes not only through execution, but by helping the team evolve how work gets done.

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3-month contract with potential to extend
Location: Hybrid, Milwaukee preferred (onsite expectations to be defined; remote considered for strong candidates)
Compensation: $28–$35/hour, commensurate with experience
Benefits: All C2 talent working 30+ hours/week for 30 consecutive business days are eligible for medical, dental, and optional vision insurance, life insurance and PTO accrual; 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match available for enrollment after 90 days

Job Description

The ideal junior designer/digital designer is a reliable, detail-oriented contributor who can execute across digital and print formats while maintaining consistency with established brand standards. You are comfortable working within defined systems, but also curious about how those systems can improve.

You understand how to balance speed with quality and can manage multiple deliverables without losing attention to detail. You are responsive to feedback, adaptable across different types of projects, and able to support a high-volume creative environment.

You also bring a proactive interest in exploring how AI can support design and production workflows, contributing ideas and practical applications that help the team work more efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of branded assets across digital, print, and social channels
  • Design marketing materials including social graphics, presentations, internal communications, and campaign assets
  • Apply and maintain brand standards across our client and its sub-brands
  • Collaborate with the Global Creative team to support ongoing campaigns and initiatives
  • Assist with layout, production, and asset preparation across multiple formats
  • Contribute to light motion or video content as needed, with guidance from senior team members
  • Maintain organized files and follow established workflows and processes
  • Identify and explore opportunities to integrate AI tools into creative workflows to improve efficiency and output quality
  • Test and apply tools such as Adobe Firefly, Microsoft Copilot, or similar to support design and production
  • Drive the team's adoption of AI by identifying practical, real-world applications and sharing learnings that improve speed, consistency, and scalability
  • Share practical learnings and applications of AI tools with the team to support broader adoption
  • Balance speed and automation with strong design judgment and brand consistency
  • Support the team during high-volume periods, particularly around brand refreshes and campaign launches

Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of professional experience in graphic or digital design
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Microsoft Copilot, Runway, or similar
  • Strong foundation in design principles including typography, layout, color, and hierarchy
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Working knowledge of Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Co-pilot)
  • Experience designing across both print and digital formats
  • Familiarity with social and marketing content development
  • Ability to work within established brand guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated curiosity and hands-on exploration of AI tools as they relate to design, content creation, or workflow optimization

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with motion design or video editing (After Effects or similar)
  • Exposure to corporate or global brand environments
  • Familiarity with tools such as Figma, PowerPoint, or other presentation platforms
  • Interest in improving workflows and increasing output through smart use of tools
