C2's client, a purpose-driven financial services organization that supports a portfolio of member-based fraternal brands through shared infrastructure, technology, and operational scale, seeks a Senior Digital Experience Program Manager to lead internal execution of a large-scale website and member portal re-platforming initiative.

This role exists to ensure the organization is aligned, prepared, and accountable across all internal workstreams required to deliver a complex digital transformation. While an external agency leads development, this person owns internal coordination across marketing, IT, operations, compliance, and executive stakeholders, ensuring work is sequenced correctly and delivered on time.

Success in this role looks like a well-orchestrated program where content, creative, technical, and compliance efforts move in sync. This is a strong fit for someone who has led enterprise web or platform transformations and understands both the technical realities of CMS-driven builds and the operational complexity of large-scale content production.

Start Date: ASAP, approximately 2 weeks from offer acceptance to allow for equipment provisioning
Duration: Ongoing contract, 20 hours per week, minimum 6 months with potential to extend
Location: Remote, must be available for scheduled team meetings
Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Job Description:

The Senior Digital Experience Program Manager leads internal execution across a multi-phase website and member portal transformation. This role focuses on aligning cross-functional teams, managing dependencies, and ensuring all internal workstreams, including content, creative, technical, and compliance, are coordinated and delivered in support of the broader program.

You will operate as the central internal counterpart to an external agency, ensuring the organization meets its responsibilities across planning, production, integration, and launch readiness. The work requires strong program leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to manage multiple interdependent workstreams in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead internal execution of a multi-phase website and member portal replatforming initiative across multiple brands
  • Build and maintain integrated program plans covering content, creative, technical, compliance, and deployment workstreams
  • Define roadmap sequencing, milestones, and dependencies across all phases of delivery
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and critical path impacts, and proactively mitigate or escalate issues
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across marketing, IT, operations, compliance, and executive leadership
  • Serve as the primary internal counterpart to the external agency program lead
  • Oversee third-party vendors and system integrators to ensure accountability to scope, timeline, and quality expectations
  • Build and manage content production plans, including copy, compliance review, photography, and video
  • Support content inventory, prioritization, and CMS readiness for deployment
  • Ensure alignment across technical integrations, including platform, authentication, and data workflows
  • Track program progress, budget exposure, and scope changes, providing regular updates to stakeholders
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing, launch readiness, and post-launch stabilization activities

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience leading digital platform, website, or CMS transformation initiatives
  • Proven experience managing enterprise CMS replatforming projects such as Kentico, Sitecore, Drupal, AEM, or similar
  • Experience overseeing large-scale content production for website or platform redesigns
  • Strong understanding of website architecture, integrations, and authentication concepts
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex, interdependent workstreams
  • Proven ability to manage third-party vendors and system integrators
  • Strong program management discipline, including risk management, planning, and governance
  • Experience working with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, Monday, Jira, or similar

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, healthcare, or membership organizations
  • Experience managing portal builds such as member, customer, or agent platforms
  • Familiarity with API-based integrations and identity frameworks such as SSO or MFA
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership or steering committees
