Job Description

C2’s client, a Brookfield, WI-based full-service multichannel marketing and advertising agency, specializes in measurable, data-driven marketing solutions across B2B, B2C, and nonprofit clients. Known for blending strategy with smart creative, this client helps brands drive engagement and measurable ROI through integrated digital and traditional campaigns. As they continue to expand with new client wins and projects, they seek a Strategic Designer who can operate at the intersection of brand, visual strategy, and UX, bringing both creative leadership and strategic insight to every engagement.

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: On demand
Location: Remote (local candidates preferred)
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
Benefits: All C2 talent working 30+ hours/week for 30 days are eligible for medical, dental, optional vision, life insurance and PTO accrual. 401(k) with match is available after 90 days
Technology: C2 talent are expected to provide their own hardware/software

Key Responsibilities

  • Function as a Brand and Visual Strategist, aligning design with storytelling, customer journeys, and brand standards
  • Provide Creative/Art Director–level oversight, from client connection and conceptual development to guiding internal/external design teams
  • Apply UX design principles to digital portals, dashboards, and clinician- or patient-facing apps when in scope
  • Translate strategy into smart, effective visual solutions that reinforce brand positioning and campaign goals
  • Partner with account, strategy, and production teams to ensure creative alignment across channels
  • Maintain brand compliance and design consistency in all deliverables
  • Evaluate and improve design workflows to increase efficiency and creative impact

Qualifications:

Required

  • Demonstrated experience in brand strategy, visual design, and creative direction
  • Proven ability to conceptualize and execute design work that supports marketing strategy and customer engagement
  • Experience integrating UX design principles into visual solutions
  • Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organization, adaptability, and collaboration in a remote environment

Preferred

  • Experience working with healthcare, pharma, or regulated-industry clients
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, or Sketch
  • Familiarity with data-driven or performance marketing environments
  • Local to the Wisconsin or greater Midwest region for occasional in-person collaboration
