Job Description

C2 client, a small, innovative organization developing a swiping app for athletes to connect with branded job opportunities, seeks a contract App Developer to customize and launch an existing app template. The App Developer will be responsible for customizing the app design and functionality in Thunkable and supporting light WordPress content updates.

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Part-time, approximately 10 hours over a 2‑week contract (with potential for additional project-based work for up to 6 months) - with a due date of August 1, 2025.
Location: Remote (client headquartered in Chicago, IL)
Compensation: $40-50/hour
Benefits: All C2 talent working 30+ hours/week for 30 days are eligible for medical, dental, optional vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match, and PTO accrual
Technology: C2 talent are expected to provide their own hardware/software unless otherwise specified

Job Description:

Join a collaborative, fast‑moving team to bring an innovative app to life. You’ll be working with a small founding team on a tight timeline to customize and launch a Thunkable-based app template, incorporating branding elements and swiping functionality to connect athletes with branded opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Customize an existing Thunkable app template (colors, logo, UI details)
• Integrate sample athlete and brand profiles to create a staging/testing environment
• Implement swiping functionality and basic matching logic
• Make light WordPress blog updates by adding provided content

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Thunkable or similar low/no-code platforms
• Familiarity with Flutterflow/Glide or other app builder tools is a plus
• Experience with WordPress content management
• Ability to work independently and meet quick deadlines
