Job Description
C2 client, an advertising, marketing and growth agency, seeks a talented and experienced Part-time Graphic Designer to join their team for approximately 90 days. The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing new client creative and production artwork that communicates messages, inspires emotions, and elevates a brand's identity. Reporting to the Creative Director, this professional will develop and execute key functions of the Creative Workgroup including creative strategy, brand identity and conceptualization, digital media, video and photography, traditional and print collateral, front-end web design, and file management. They also must display the confidence to maintain a visual identity across tactics and evolve ideas into comprehensive visual solutions.
Start date: As soon as they find the right person
Duration: 90 days, about 5-10 hours/week with the potential for extension (could be more based on projects)
Location: 100% remote, EST, CST & MST candidates preferred
Compensation: $25-$27/hour as W-2 employee of C2
Benefits: All C2 talent working 30+hours/week for 30 days are eligible for medical, dental, and optional vision insurance, life insurance; after 90 days C2 offers 401(k) with match and accrual of PTO
This position is responsible for the following areas:
Creative Vision & Strategy:
- Understand the creative vision that reflects a brand's identity, meet client business goals, and adherence to brand guidelines
- Elevate and maintain the visual identity across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency while continually exploring innovative design solutions
Brand Identity & Conceptualization:
- Understand client brand strategies and how they influence design
- Develop ideas into concrete visual solutions ensuring consistency, relevancy, and engagement
Digital Media:
- Creation of design assets to be used on digital channels and platforms
- Collaboration to ensure all deliverables meet the digital strategies, client goals, and specifications while staying informed about new technologies and formats
Video & Photography:
- Production and execution of video, audio, photography, and 3D virtual tour product offerings
- Develop graphics and assets for video content while maintaining visual consistency with brand standards
- Stay up to date with video trends and best practices
Traditional & Print Collateral:
- Creative production of all print and traditional marketing materials
- Ensure the client's Brand Strategy & Brand Standards are met in visual compositions using typography, imagery, color, and form
Front End Web Design:
- Execute and collaborate to create web designs and assets, ensuring the overall brand experience is achieved
- Leverage web technology, themes, and integrations to achieve an excellent user visual experience
- Support in development of web builds with optimization of graphics and photos for web best practices, responsive design strategies, mobile and accessibility best practices and consistency to brand and website goals
Asset & File Management:
- Produce accurate file exports, sizing, specifications, and formats
- Collaborate in third-party purchase processes related to design, materials specification, and quality
- Maintain organization of all client and agency assets according to IT strategy
- Understand basic third-party subscriptions, licensure, and terms and conditions, ensuring proper business practices are followed

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
- 2+ years of graphic design experience
- Demonstrable graphic design experience across traditional and digital channels
- Experience with design for digital platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud products (Photoshop, InDesign, XD, etc.)
- Experience with email marketing platforms, such as Mailchimp
- Familiarity with Google Workspace applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
- Agency experience is a huge plus
- WordPress experience a plus
