C2 client, a high-performing sales representative for a well-established table linen rental company serving the Midwest event and hospitality industry, seeks a part-time, contract Digital Marketing Manager to optimize marketing efforts and drive visibility, engagement, and lead generation. The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for building and executing cohesive strategies across social, email, and digital platforms that support a sales territory while laying the groundwork for potential future company-wide initiatives.
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 3-month contract to start, 10–20 hours/week
Location: Remote (candidates with familiarity in the Wisconsin/Chicago hospitality/events markets preferred)
Compensation: $30–$45/hour W2, commensurate with experience
Benefits: All C2 talent working 30+ hours/week for 30 days are eligible for medical, dental, optional vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match, and PTO accrual
Technology: C2 talent are expected to provide their own hardware/software
This is a unique opportunity to support an experienced and entrepreneurial sales professional in the event industry by identifying and implementing marketing efforts that boost visibility, create consistency across touchpoints, and generate measurable ROI. You’ll begin by auditing current efforts, then develop a strategic roadmap to guide digital campaigns, social posts, email communications, and potential print collateral—all while working within a tight budget.

• Conduct a marketing audit and recommend a cost-effective digital strategy tailored to the regional sales territory
• Create and manage a digital marketing plan including email campaigns, social posts, and paid strategies with clear metrics
• Build scalable tools and templates that could be used more broadly across the organization
• Create and manage content calendars across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
• Develop and deploy email marketing campaigns with strong CTAs and ROI tracking
• Recommend improvements to existing marketing materials and branded assets (with optional design support)
• Analyze performance metrics and make data-driven optimizations
• Provide light training or guidance on tools and best practices as needed
• 3–5+ years of digital marketing experience, ideally in B2B, events, or hospitality industries
• Demonstrated success planning and executing digital campaigns with limited budgets
• Strong content creation and copywriting skills with a consistent brand voice
• Proficiency with social media scheduling tools (Meta Business Suite, Later), email platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact), and creative tools (Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud)
• Highly self-directed with the ability to recommend and own strategic direction
• Bonus points for familiarity with the Wisconsin or Chicago regional event market
