Job Description:
Drive attendance, sales, amplify brand voice and reach while bringing digital marketing discipline to every aspect of these venues' brand experiences.
This is where fair food meets strategy, beer specials meet brand building, and live music meets data analytics. The venue needs a digital marketer who can dream up the campaign, schedule the content, set up analytics, post the reel, and share the report that shows the effort worked. You’ll be responsible for every step of the digital marketing process, collaborating with the owners and on-site content creators (photo/video shooters and editors) to bring big energy to their online presence—and fill the seats (and cups) all season long.
A second venue on the same fairgrounds will debut this year and requires its own distinct identity. This new destination needs a brand voice, digital platforms, and a vibe that stands out and draws in fairgoers to stop for a beer or two.
If you’re into live music, local food culture, people-watching, and the perfect balance of strategy, tactical execution, and fun, this gig might be your jam.
Responsibilities:
- Concept, build, and manage a content calendar, using scheduling tools to manage content across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other niche live music, beer enthusiast, and geo-targeted event sites
- Develop and execute social media campaigns for weekly concerts, the summer fair season, and other special events
- Assess the right platforms, then create and optimize organic content and paid ads across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google, etc.
- • Write copy, event listings, and on-brand marketing collateral with a consistent brand voice
- Collaborate with photo/video shooters/editors to capture visuals that support campaign objectives
- Monitor analytics and campaign performance; provide insights and recommendations via regular reporting
- Be on-site (as needed) before or during select events to capture content or ensure campaign assets are live and accurate
- If time allows, support management and updates to the venue’s website, ensuring content is accurate, current, and SEO-friendly
- Have fun, but treat the work seriously—because growing awareness and driving results matter most
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of digital marketing experience, preferably tied to events, entertainment, or hospitality
- Proven strong writing and social media skills that reflect a successful representation of brand voice that converts
- Demonstrable experience identifying channels and content for paid ads and organic campaigns across TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Google, and niche event/music/beer channels
- Experience with tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Buffer, or other digital marketing and reporting tools—whatever it takes to execute consistently with a high degree of accuracy and detail
- Able to balance scrappy execution with smart strategy and brand cohesion
- Comfortable collaborating remotely but willing to be on-site as needed to support live events or content capture
- A passion for music, events, beer, fair food, and the magic that happens when a community comes together under one giant tent
