Job Description

C2 client, an advertising, marketing and growth agency, seeks a talented and experienced part-time contract copywriter to join their team for approximately 90 days. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating compelling copy for a variety of projects, including ad copy, social posts, blogging, and web copy. 

Start date: As soon as they find the right person
Duration: 90 days, about 5-10 hours/week with the potential for extension (could be more based on projects)
Location: 100% remote, EST, CST & MST candidates preferred
Compensation: $30-$35/hour as W2 employee of C2, commensurate with experience and quality of portfolio 

Job Description: 
Responsibilities:

• Develop creative and engaging copy for a variety of projects, including ad copy, social posts, blogging, and web copy
• Research topics and develop content that is relevant to the target audience
• Ensure all copy is accurate, error-free, and meets the client’s requirements
• Work with the creative team to ensure all copy is consistent with the brand’s voice and tone
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure all copy is on-brand and on-message
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
• Able to quickly adapt their writing style and voice for different clients and audiences
• Develop creative and engaging copy for a variety of projects, including distinguishing between long form projects (blogs,web landing page writing, brand key messaging) and short form projects (social media, email, print ads).
• Demonstrate ability to research topics and themes and develop content that is relevant to project goal and target audiences.
• Lead development of new ideas for marketing concepts, key messages and themes

• Proven experience as a copywriter, preferably in an agency setting
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with keyword research
• Must have your own computer
