C2’s client is a thriving global software company that believes ecommerce software should enable sustainable growth, but they’re more than a software company—they’re a strategic partner in the evolution of ecommerce. Their mission is to enable businesses to scale, improve efficiency, and create better digital experiences for customers. Our client seeks a strategic and customer-focused Account Manager to drive growth, oversee high-value accounts, and build long-term client relationships.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator and relationship builder who thrives in customer-focused, detail-oriented environments. You’re comfortable managing quarterly business reviews, customer contracts, and revenue growth initiatives, while collaborating across departments to drive results.

A background in marketing, ecommerce, or digital platforms is a plus, but your ability to understand client needs, anticipate solutions, and ensure customer success is what truly matters.

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Full-time, Direct Hire
Location: Hybrid, more frequent visits to the Milwaukee office during onboarding period (first 90 days) and on-site work for client meetings, team events or lunch & learn trainings
Compensation: $65-$70K salary and a competitive benefits package

  • Onsite interview with owner and C-Suite execs in marketing and sales - may be stretched over 2 onsite interviews based on availability

Primary Responsibilities:

As part of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders in advertising and digital marketing, that will mentor and empower you to influence strategic decisions, and help shape the future of ecommerce solutions. Account Management & Growth

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, developing tailored growth strategies for each
  • Oversee revenue and license contracts, ensuring alignment with company goals
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with senior leadership and customer success teams
  • Forecast and strategize organic revenue growth, both quarterly and annually
  • Identify opportunities for expansion, leveraging insights from client interactions

Customer Success & Retention

  • Act as a trusted advisor for clients, ensuring exceptional service and strategic alignment
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, product support, and customer success teams to deliver high-impact solutions
  • Develop and implement customer retention strategies, proactively addressing churn risks
  • Identify early warning signs in customer behavior and take proactive steps to retain business

Process & Project Management

  • Prepare internal and external documentation for team members and industry partners
  • Schedule and manage meetings, appointments, and travel itineraries as needed
  • Collaborate across departments to streamline processes and enhance the customer experience

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3+ years of account management experience, preferably in ecommerce or digital marketing
  • Strong customer-first mindset, with a track record of driving revenue growth
  • Ability to anticipate client needs and match them with relevant solutions
  • Experience analyzing ecommerce websites and digital marketing platforms for optimization
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with impeccable attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and CRM platforms
  • A friendly, professional demeanor and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
