We are seeking a full-time Landscaper to support properties managed by an LA based property management company that manages approximately 2,500 units of conventional and affordable multifamily housing throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.

The Landscaper is responsible for maintaining attractive, healthy, and well-kept outdoor areas at assigned properties. This position performs routine lawn care, groundskeeping, irrigation, planting, trimming, and related landscaping work while following all company safety requirements.

ROP: $21-25

Qualifications

• At least two years of landscape maintenance experience
• Valid California Driver’s License and current auto insurance
• Knowledge of lawn care practices and landscape maintenance
• Experience safely operating landscaping tools and equipment
• Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting or moving materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good verbal communication skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Mow, trim, and edge lawns
• Till and maintain flower beds
• Weed, mulch, and plant flowers, shrubs, and other landscaping
• Irrigate gardens and landscaped areas
• Install and repair irrigation components, including sprinkler heads, valves, and timers
• Trim and prune trees and shrubs
• Safely operate landscaping tools and mechanical equipment
• Complete daily safety checks of company vehicles and equipment
• Follow all company vehicle and safe-driving policies
• Use required personal protective equipment and follow established safety procedures
• Report to the corporate office to receive materials, work orders, and daily assignments
• Work with team members to complete assignments safely and on schedule
• Perform additional duties as assigned
