We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative professional to support ongoing UX string translation efforts and related development activities. This role will focus on managing and improving translation databases, supporting multilingual product development, and working closely with internal and external partners to ensure quality and consistency across all deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translation Database Management: Maintain and enhance the UX string translation database, ensuring accuracy and consistency across multiple languages while collaborating with the internal team on both production-level tasks and forward-looking development initiatives.

  • Project Coordination in Tools: Actively engage in project workflows through Jira and Lokalise, contributing updates, tracking progress, and ensuring tasks align with project timelines and requirements.

  • Adherence to DevOps Practices: Develop code that integrates with existing DevOps pipelines, following established infrastructure standards, version control practices, and process guidelines to maintain high-quality deliverables.

  • Quality Assurance & Review: Evaluate translations provided by other teams, identify inconsistencies or errors, and deliver constructive feedback to improve overall language quality and usability.

  • Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Work cross-functionally with peers to refine best practices, promote translation quality improvements, and provide insight into localization challenges and opportunities.

  • External Communication: Partner with suppliers and third-party vendors, clearly communicating project requirements, deadlines, and technical considerations, while fostering effective collaboration to meet shared goals.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with translation management systems (e.g., Lokalise, Phrase, Smartling, or similar).

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, software development processes, or version control tools such as Git.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear feedback to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality, accuracy, and consistency.

  • Previous experience with Jira or comparable project management tools is a plus.

  • Multilingual proficiency or prior work with localization teams is highly desirable.
