Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILTY

Primarily responsible for the analysis, design, modification, testing, installation, and maintenance of .NET application programs, with a focus on the .NET CORE framework for developing scalable and cross-platform solutions. Regularly leverages SQL for data modeling, query optimization, and integration across relational databases to support robust application functionality.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable .NET CORE applications, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business strategy.
• Modernize and maintain company webpages, implementing responsive design principles and optimizing web performance.
• Architect, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs that enable seamless integration across platforms and services.
• Develop and manage SSRS reports to support data-driven decision-making and business intelligence initiatives.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Research, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies and frameworks to continuously improve system performance and development efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to scope, plan, and deliver robust solutions that support organizational growth.

EDUCATION: Bachelor degree in related field

BUSINESS EXPERIENCE:  

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in .NET software development, delivering scalable and maintainable enterprise applications.
• Proven expertise in developing and deploying solutions using the .NET Core framework, with a focus on performance and cross-platform compatibility.
• 3+ years of experience in modern web development utilizing ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to build responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Strong proficiency in relational databases (e.g., SQL Server), including data modeling, query optimization, and integration within application workflows.
• Solid foundation in object-oriented programming principles and design patterns, contributing to robust and modular application architectures.
• Direct collaboration with business units to conduct validation testing and ensure functional alignment with organizational goals.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

• Working in a small team environment
• Independent and self-motivated
• Knowledge of Telerik Controls
• RWD – responsive web design (CSS, HTML5, Bootstrap, Blazor)
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience with full SDLC process
• Experience with Database Design
• Experience with IIS
• Detail Oriented

FRAMEWORK KNOWLEDGE:       ASP.NET, .NET Core

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:       Primary skill set includes Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, XML, Structured Query Language, Web Services, SQL Server 2012+, Microsoft IIS server configuration.

OTHER:         Ability to multitask and prioritize work.  Automotive background preferred.
