The ideal candidate will have experience with foreclosure processes and case management, along with strong organizational and communication skills. This role requires proficiency in legal case management platforms and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee foreclosure and loss mitigation cases from start to finish.
Prepare and file legal documents related to loan reinstatement, foreclosure, and loss mitigation.
Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel regarding case status and required actions.
Maintain accurate and organized case files using CaseAware (case management software).
Utilize BKFS (mortgage servicing platform) to track and manage loan and foreclosure data.
Ensure all case activities are in compliance with state and federal foreclosure laws and regulations.
Support attorneys with legal research, document preparation, and case updates.
Monitor deadlines and maintain case calendars.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in foreclosure and loss mitigation is required.
Proficiency with BKFS and CaseAware.
Strong knowledge of legal procedures and terminology related to foreclosure and mortgage servicing.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a law firm or legal department focused on mortgage servicing or foreclosure.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Familiarity with state and federal foreclosure laws and regulations.
