Job SummaryCoordinates activities for compliance of, and the improvement of, all quality systems. Provides technical support to investigate, audit, develop and implement continuous improvement for production and development processes to achieve high quality, productivity, and safety. The selected individual will support Quality Department. Other assignments may be given at the Quality Manager’s discretion. Responsibility • Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers to ensure all quality requirements are met. • Assist Quality Manager with documentation and re-certification of the quality management system. • Interact with various groups responsible for developing documentation to meet quality requirements and verify • current procedures by conducting interviews orally or using written communication. • Maintain existing procedures to ensure all documentation is written in correct format in accordance with IATF 16949.• Review current documentation and modify format as required following the outlined process per the Quality Standard. • Participate in support of ISO certification, customer, and surveillance audits. • Coordinate completion of audits including managing the audit schedule for both on-site, administrating and tracking all Internal/External audits and maintain archive of all audit reports. • Manages and coordinates the internal auditing program. • Assist the Quality department with the non-conformance, deviation, and corrective/preventive action processes. • Assist in Maintaining KPI metrics for Quality Assurance activities. • Reporting on the performance of the systems for review and improvement. • Provide information for inclusion to the management review report. • Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers to ensure all quality requirements are met. • Review of customer websites and customer specific requirements. • All other duties as assigned. Academic/Educational RequirementsHigh School Diploma, Certified Lead Auditor IATF 16949, AIAG Core Tools knowledge considered an asset.Required Skills/ExperienceThree to five years of relevant automotive manufacturing working experience. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Excellent computer skills (Including, but not limited to: Windows, Office, Visio, Project Manager, and Internet). Ability to work independently. Organized with ability to work independently. Working Conditions40 hours per weekIn office, Production area as required.Monday to FridayPlease note: All schedules and changes to working hours must be approved by the department manager.
