Production Supervisor (2nd Shift)

The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the manufacturing process remains smooth and efficient by organizing workflows and monitoring staff.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise operations within the Plant to achieve highest output

• Plan and schedule work assignments and production sequences to meet production goals accurately and on time. Inspect materials, products, and/or equipment to detect defects
• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
• Check production output according to specifications
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
• Inspect the levels of supplies and raw material to identify shortages
• Ensure product stock is adequate for demand
• Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory
• Place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus
• Leads by example: Sets expectations for staff and monitors delegated activities
• Thorough understanding of material flow throughout Plant
• Fill in in any capacity at the Plant as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and process improvement skills are required
• Ability to create and adhere to production processes
• Complete understanding and adherence to safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations
• Proven leadership skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
