Job Description

A highly reputable healthcare system in New Hampshire is searching for a Registered Nurse for its brand-new Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit opening this June! In this role, you will provide quality care for critically ill patients with heart and vascular issues and post-cardiac surgery patients.

Responsibilities:

• Continuous monitoring and assessment of patients for changes in vital signs and physiological functions.
• Administer IV medications that support cardiac function and provide sedation.
• Monitor cardiac monitors, invasive monitors, central lines, arterial lines, ventilators, and chest tubes.
• Responding to emergencies, performing CPR, and using advanced life support techniques.
• Frequent blood draws, dressing changes, and wound care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• A BSN is preferred.
• Active RN License.
• 2+ years of CVICU experience is preferred.
