A respected healthcare organization in Central New York is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its team as an RN Unit Manager at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations, supporting nursing staff, and ensuring residents receive high-quality, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and mentor nursing staff while promoting exceptional resident care.
• Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, payroll, performance evaluations, and staff development.
• Support quality improvement initiatives, regulatory compliance, and policy implementation.
• Serve as a clinical leader during emergencies and provide hands-on support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
