Refrigeration Engineering Manager

Location: Florida

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Refrigeration Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in the design, development, and maintenance of refrigeration systems for a premier NAFEM commercial refrigeration company. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and proven leadership capabilities. You will be responsible for overseeing all engineering activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving innovation in refrigeration technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the refrigeration engineering team to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Design, develop, and optimize refrigeration systems to meet business needs and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of refrigeration systems into overall operations.
- Monitor and evaluate system performance, providing technical guidance and solutions for improvement.
- Develop and implement engineering processes and best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all engineering activities.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in refrigeration engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems design and maintenance.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills.
