Business Analyst

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support business and technology initiatives by working closely with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document business requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that business needs are translated into effective solutions and that project objectives are successfully achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  • Develop and maintain requirements documentation, user stories, process flows, use cases, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to support requirements gathering, solution design, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Support solution validation activities, including testing against defined requirements and documenting results.
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and issue resolution activities.
  • Support end-user training, change management, and adoption activities as needed.
  • Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and contribute to project planning and reporting activities.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, status reports, and performance metrics.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, or a related role.

  • Experience supporting technology, business transformation, software implementation, or process improvement initiatives.

  • Demonstrated experience documenting detailed business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with cloud-based platforms, enterprise applications, or customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience supporting testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance activities.
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery environments.
