Job Description
AI Governance LeadLocation: Toronto (Hybrid)
Term: 6-Month Contract
Our client is seeking an AI Governance Advisor to help establish and mature enterprise AI governance practices, ensuring the responsible adoption of AI across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance AI governance frameworks, policies, standards, and controls
- Conduct AI risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
- Support implementation of AI governance operating models and oversight processes
- Partner with Risk, Legal, Privacy, Cybersecurity, Compliance, and Technology teams
- Ensure alignment with evolving AI regulations and industry standards
- Drive responsible AI practices across the organization
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in AI Governance, Data Governance, Technology Risk, Compliance, or a related field
- Experience developing governance frameworks, policies, and controls
- Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and associated risks
- Experience conducting risk assessments in complex technology environments
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, OECD AI Principles, or the EU AI Act
- Experience in financial services or other regulated industries
