We are seeking an experienced Unix/Linux Administrator to support and manage enterprise server environments and ensure the stability, availability, and security of critical infrastructure. This role is responsible for administering Unix and Linux systems, implementing automation solutions, supporting operational processes, and contributing to ongoing infrastructure improvements.
Administer, monitor, maintain, and optimize Unix and Linux server environments.
Perform system installations, upgrades, patching, and configuration activities to ensure reliability and security.
Develop and maintain automation solutions to streamline infrastructure and operational processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring timely restoration of services and minimal disruption.
Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support guides.
Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and support teams to deliver and maintain stable platform services.
Support incident, problem, and change management processes in accordance with established practices.
Participate in on-call support and provide after-hours assistance when required.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the adoption of DevOps and automation best practices.
Experience administering Unix and Linux operating systems in enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of system administration, performance tuning, patch management, and troubleshooting.
Experience with scripting and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
Familiarity with configuration management and infrastructure automation concepts.
Experience supporting production environments and working within structured operational processes.
Understanding of DevOps principles and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.
Industry certifications related to Linux, Unix, or system administration.
Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools.
Familiarity with security, compliance, and system hardening practices.
Exposure to cloud technologies and modern infrastructure platforms.
Experience working in highly available, mission-critical environments.
