Job Description: Contract to Hire Dental Assistant with X-ray Skills in Kansas City

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will have experience in chair-side assisting and be proficient in taking and developing dental x-rays.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare patients for dental procedures by welcoming, comforting, and seating them in the dental chair
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment, prepare trays for dental procedures, and assist the dentist     during procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and aftercare instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a dental assisting program
- Current certification in radiography
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
