Job Description:

Our dental practice client is seeking a skilled and experienced Periodontist to join their dental team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing periodontal services to their patients, including diagnosing and treating gum disease, performing scaling and root planing, and placing dental implants. The Periodontist will work closely with our general dentists and other specialists to provide comprehensive dental care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and treat gum disease and other periodontal conditions
- Perform scaling and root planing procedures
- Place dental implants
- Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists to provide comprehensive dental care
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Stay current on the latest developments in periodontal treatments and techniques

Requirements:

- DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental school
- Completion of a periodontal residency program
- State of Kansas dental license
- Board certification in periodontology (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
