Dental Hygiene Director
Job Summary
The Dental Hygiene Director is responsible for overseeing the dental hygiene program and ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality. The Director will work closely with other dental professionals to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote optimal oral health for patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the dental hygiene program.
- Monitor patient outcomes and assess the quality of care provided by dental hygienists.
- Assess dental hygiene services and patient care processes to ensure high standards of care.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Work with other dental professionals to develop and implement initiatives that promote optimal oral health for patients.
- Provide leadership and guidance to dental hygienists and other staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in dental hygiene or a related field.
- Current license to practice dental hygiene in the state of Kansas.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in dental hygiene.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other dental professionals.
