Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to support clients team just outside of Halifax, NS. This  permanent full-time opportunity is central to coordinating service activities, managing dispatch workflows, and ensuring efficient communication between customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:
  • Coordinate scheduling and dispatch activities 
  • Review work orders and prepare job documentation, including safety requirements
  • Compile and submit documentation to support invoicing and job tracking
  • Support project coordination by liaising with internal teams and clients to ensure job readiness
  • Verify and reconcile job and service records for accuracy and completeness
  • Process and finalize service jobs, including invoicing
  • Coordinate purchasing requests and track required materials/equipment
  • Liaise with inventory to ensure timely receipt and allocation of parts
  • Identify issues and route them internally for follow-up or quoting
  • Support training coordination and maintain related records
  • Participate in health and safety initiatives as required
Experience & Attributes for Success:
  • Diploma or certificate in Business Administration or a related field is considered an asset
  • Previous experience in service coordination, dispatch, or a related role is a definite asset but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel required)
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse team and customers
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact at all organizational levels
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
