Job Description

Our client, a growing construction and development company located in Dartmouth, NS, is looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join their team. This is a 3-4 month contract role with strong potential for permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

  • Accounts payable
  • Monthly invoicing
  • Preparing and balancing bank deposits
  • Remittances and reconciliations
  • Financial data entry
  • Maintaining financial records
  • Assisting in project budgeting 
  • Other support tasks as required

Experience & Attributes for Success:

  • Minimum of 2 years of entry level accounting clerk experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Positive and professional communication skills
  • Organized work ethic with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Dedicated team player with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently
