Job Description:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing and executing advanced accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting the company’s financial operations. This position will assist with month-end and year-end closing, audits, reporting, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review complex journal entries, including accruals, allocations, and intercompany transactions
• Maintain accuracy of the general ledger and financial records, including reconciliations of accounts
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses for management
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance
• Support audits by preparing schedules, providing documentation, and liaising with auditors
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets
• Mentor junior accounting staff and review their work to ensure accuracy
• Participate in special projects to improve accounting processes and efficiency
