Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries to record business transactions in accordance with accounting standards
• Reconcile general ledger and bank accounts, researching and resolving discrepancies
• Review and interpret legal documents related to real estate transactions to determine proper accounting treatment
• Maintain accurate financial data and ensure timely updates to company records
• Assist with annual financial audits and support audit requests
• Prepare management and ad hoc financial reports as needed
• Partner with internal teams and external parties to ensure smooth communication and information flow
• Support process improvements and assist with special projects as assigned


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• At least one year of full-cycle accounting experience required
• Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger processes
• Prior experience in financial services or real estate industries preferred
• Proficiency with Excel required
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment
