Job Description:
The Credit Analyst will support the commercial lending team by evaluating the financial strength and risks associated with clients across various industries. Key responsibilities include:
• Input and analyze personal and business financial data from tax returns, financial statements, and budgets.
• Prepare supporting cash flow, property, and accounts receivable analyses.
• Conduct detailed credit analyses and present findings to loan officers and approval authorities.
• Apply loan policy and recommend structures for lending requests.
• Track and maintain financial documentation in internal systems.
• Record minutes for weekly loan committee meetings.
• Prepare Board and lending reports.
• Participate in industry training programs.
• Support senior management with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of credit underwriting experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business (or equivalent experience).
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, ratio analysis, and cash flow.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
