Job Description:
• Perform all aspects of financial statement audits, including planning, risk assessment, fieldwork (analytical and substantive procedures, workpaper preparation), conclusion procedures, and report drafting.
• Assist with tax services for individual, partnership, and corporate clients, including preparation of returns, planning, and projection calculations.
• Serve as a point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining professional communication and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
• Utilize accounting software and technology tools to support audits, tax preparation, and data analysis.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with professional standards.
• Contribute to process improvements and best practices to enhance overall client service.
• Support special projects, consulting engagements, and other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required.
• CPA designation or active candidacy strongly preferred.
• 1–2 years of public accounting or related audit/tax experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, auditing practices, and tax fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting/audit software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients and colleagues.
• Professional discretion when handling confidential information.
• Eagerness to take on new responsibilities and grow into supervisory and consulting tasks.
