Job Description:

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all phases of electrical construction projects, ensuring they are executed effectively, on budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards. This role requires proactive leadership across procurement, planning, field supervision, documentation, and client relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate project procurement, equipment selection, material tracking, and returns.
• Track and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and performance metrics; identify and address variances to maintain project profitability.
• Supervise field teams and participate in regular on-site meetings, including safety walkthroughs and jobsite assessments.
• Maintain thorough project documentation such as daily logs, owner reports, invoices, and submittals.
• Resolve billing issues and support collection efforts for overdue accounts receivable.
• Submit permit and inspection requests, and manage construction documentation including RFIs, shop drawings, as-builts, and change orders.
• Communicate regularly with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to address concerns and provide project updates.
• Lead value engineering discussions and estimate change orders as needed.
• Use digital tools like Bluebeam and other document management systems to ensure accurate tracking of all project materials and correspondence.
• Support safety standards and jobsite compliance by participating in field huddles, investigations, and safety initiatives.


Qualifications:

Required:
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Prior experience managing projects within the construction or electrical contracting industry.
• Proficiency in budgeting, cost tracking, and construction document control.
• Familiarity with project management tools and software such as Bluebeam.

Preferred:
• Experience with field personnel oversight, jobsite coordination, and permitting processes.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with clients, field staff, and stakeholders.
