Company: A fast-growing, privately held construction industry company is seeking a Project Accountant to support financial operations across a variety of active projects. Role Overview

As a Project Accountant, you will manage key accounting functions related to construction projects, including billing, certified payroll, WIP reporting, lien waivers, and PO processing. You’ll collaborate closely with project teams and finance leadership to ensure accurate and timely financial tracking and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
• Set up and maintain project financial records
• Prepare and submit certified payroll
• Handle billing, monitor payments, and process lien waivers
• Submit PO entries and support monthly WIP reporting
• Track certificates of insurance and ensure project compliance
• Work with project managers and finance team to support financial accuracy


Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant billing or accounting experience
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• Familiarity with Vista accounting software is a plus
• Experience in the construction industry preferred
