Job Description:
The Staff Accountant plays a vital role in supporting financial operations across multiple entities. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial data, performing timely reconciliations, and contributing to the overall financial reporting process. Responsibilities include:
• Completing monthly closings for both corporate-owned and partnership-owned entities.
• Preparing and reconciling partnership bank statements.
• Assisting with the preparation and distribution of quarterly partnership payouts.
• Handling daily cash deposits and ensuring accurate application of payments.
• Reconciling intercompany accounts to maintain accurate internal records.
• Gathering and preparing financial data to support monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Performing general ledger reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Supporting special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
One to two or more years of relevant experience in an accounting role preferred.
Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
