Job Description:

The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities include:
• Overseeing general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements, month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP and other financial regulations.
• Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow reporting.
• Developing and implementing internal controls to safeguard financial data.
• Supervising and mentoring accounting staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Collaborating with auditors, tax consultants, and other financial professionals.
• Analyzing financial data and providing insights to support business decision-making.
• Maintaining and optimizing accounting software and financial reporting systems.
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.


Qualifications:

• . Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required).
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
